The Raise3D N2 has a huge build volume of 12inch x 12inch x 12inch. Additionally, the entire printer is fully enclosed with a sturdy aluminium metal frame and ABS, acrylic, and polycarbonate casing.

 

The Raise 3D N2 comes stock with a heated bed and their V2 Hot End capable of temperatures up to 300 C. This makes the N2 compatible with almost any material currently available including PLA, ABS, PETG, Nylon, Carbon Fibre, TPU/TPE (Flexibles)and Metal Composites(with the upgrade to a wear resistant nozzle).

NextEngine 3D Scanner

The NextEngine Scanner is a desktop 3D scanner that uses an array of lasers to scan objects at resolutions of 0.005 inches. Because it uses lasers, this is an active data-capture method.

 

It is not always the quickest method, but if you need to create high-quality 3D models of real-world objects, this is a good tool. One of its uses in industry is for reverse-engineering.

 

The scanner has a flash and camera as well, so it collects 2D images to texture the 3D models it generates. It will output files to .stl, .obj, .vmrl, .xyz, and .ply file formats.
