  • Apply enhanced knowledge and skills in the area of power electronics so as to excel in various sectors in modern power industry / utility / transportation electrification and / or teaching and / or higher education and / or research.
  • PEO2
  • Engage in design of novel products and strategic solutions to real life problems in the areas of power electronics that are technically sound, economically feasible and socially acceptable.
  • PEO3
  • Exhibit professionalism, keep up ethics in profession and demonstrate communication skills, leadership qualities as well as willingness to work in groups.

The POs of the M. Tech (Power Electronics) programme

  • PO1
  • Ability to independently carry out research / investigation and development work to solve practical problems.
  • PO2
  • Ability to write and present a substantial technical report / document .
  • PO3
  • Ability to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program.
  • PO4
  • Ability to provide engineering solutions to the problems pertaining to Power Electronics by utilizing the acquired knowledge and to take up project management issues including financial and administrative challenges in the power electronics space, having multidisciplinary nature.
  • PO5
  • Willingness and ability for the sustentation of professional ethics and social values while carrying out the responsibilities as a Power Electronics engineer/researcher in devising solutions to real life engineering problems in an independent manner, with a perspective to sustained lifelong learning process.
