ME6491D : Computational Laboratory

CO1 To prepare the students to conduct computational work using Fluent or programming language
CO2 To give state-of-the-art algorithms and to develop programming skills to perform computations

  • Lab 1: A computer program for finding roots of any given equation using the Newton-Raphson and Bisection Method
  • Lab 2: A computer program for solving ODE using Euler and RK methods.
  • Lab 3: Fluid flow and heat transfer in a mixing elbow

  • Lab 5: Heat transfer in a concentric pipe and comparison with the experimental data
