Eligibility
    The programme is open for undergraduates in Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Aeronautical Engineering/Aerospace Engineering/ Automobile Engineering/ Energy Engineering/ Nuclear Engineering/Renewable Energy.
    The admission to the Programme is based on valid score in the GATE examination (with Mechanical Engineering as the subject). Centralized allotment is done through CCMT. Details of post graduate admissions of the Institute are available HERE. Fellowships are available to eligible candidates as per MHRD norms and Institute rules. Seats are also available under sponsored category for working professionals. Details of admission under sponsored category are available HERE.

    Course Work
    The students undergo courses in the first and second semesters that include fundamental subjects and application/design oriented topics covering the various domains of Energy Engineering. In addition to the core and elective subjects, there are two laboratory courses in the first and second semesters, namely Computational Laboratory and Energy Engineering Laboratory. Seminar, Mini Project and Industrial Training also form part of the curriculum. The major project work is taken up by the students in the third and fourth semesters.
