We are very happy to inform you that our BTech (Engineering Physics) students, Aleena Antony, Pranaw M P, Isac Antony Babu Vazhappilly and Sri Gayathri won 2nd Prize in the Mathworks Minidrone Competition India (28-29 September 2024) conducted by Mathsworks and Department of Aerospace Engineering, IISc Bangalore.
More than 1500 teams registered and among 200 submissions in round one, our students team was selected to be in the final 10 teams to be present at IISc Bangalore for the final round. The first round was a simulation round in which they had to move the drone along a path/line and in the final round they had to upload the code to the drone provided there, perform the image rendering, test for errors and finally fly the drone in the arena to achieve maximum points. Our students' code was the one that covered the track with the fastest time.
Department of Physics felicitated the concerned students during the third in-house symposium Confluentia-2025
